Accessibility statement
This site is built to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification. Here is what was done, what is known not to work yet, and how to reach me.
Accessibility level
The site aims to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, and follows WCAG 2.1 where it can.
What was done
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link that skips straight to the content.
- Pages are built with headings, lists and landmarks that screen readers announce.
- Images that carry information have a text alternative, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text colors were chosen for strong contrast against the dark background.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser's zoom, and the layout adapts to phones.
- Animations stop when the device is set to reduce motion.
- Hebrew pages are marked as Hebrew and read right to left, so screen readers use the right language.
Known limitations
- The diagram on the homepage is an image with a text description; the full detail is in the text around it.
- Booking a call opens cal.eu, and the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp. Their accessibility is managed by those services.
- The covers of the field notes are images; the title of each note appears next to them as text.
